Hopkins IS as good now as when he was 35, it's not like Joe was a spring chicken when they fought, he was 36 with brittle hands. A 28 year old Calzaghe still beat a 35 year old Hopkins anyway...

It was a close fight, in my opinion neither won it clearly.

punch stats had him landing a good 100 in one round, with the replay in slo-mo showing calzaghe landing not even one of his punches inside a flurry

Punch stats mean nothing. Calazghe landed 7 or 8 clean punches all night. He won the fight because he was busier than a 43 year old man. Congratulations Joe.

lmfao, at 43 years old many people thought he beat Joe, he lost a split decision against some1 who was almost 8 years younger than him.

we old know the reason why Hopkins lost, he lost because his tank was on empty. not because joe is/was a better fighter.

Prime B-HOP beats him 8 rounds to 4

Calzaghe has the right abilities, but the wrong attitude. Hopkins is still fighting in his 40s, he backs up his words. Calzaghe likes talking smack to other boxers from the safety of his retirement.
