Such painkillers could be more dangerous in the long term, since fighters with numbed hands hit harder since they cannot feel their hands at a time when they could be unknowingly damaging them.

using it to enhance performance, i.e. to numb the hands before a fight, violates its intended purpose, therefore making such use illegal even in Nevada.
