really a 2 man competition.
What's worse a cruiserweight coming up to heavyweight & start bad mouthing the 2 best fighters not to mention very classy & humble fighters only to back out because he was contractually obligated to fight both fighters (can you imagine paul williams backing out of a contract because he was contracted to fight pacquiao & mayweather?)?
or
a undefeated 32 year old welterweight former junior middleweight champion fighting a 36 year old career featherweight with 56 plus fights at welterweight then not purposely not make weight while not disclosing his fight night weight & not telling the media the actual catchweight of the fight along with being not accepting shane challenged who asked him in his face in front of the televised audience but will fight hatton & marquez because they called him out even though paul williams, pacquiao, mosley, & margarito have all called him out?Comment

Now that you point it out, sure. Maybe a bit chuckle-worthy. But still, what he said was true - Maidana wasn't ahead of Salita in the mandatory stakes (although he really should've been), so Khan had no choice either way. Technically he still has no choice, other than to drop the belt if he doesn't want any piece of Maidana.
It's in Warren's court now. If he wants to get rid of Khan's "overprotected" label, then he should indeed pit his fighter against the hard puncher everyone is clamouring to see. In the end, though, Khan himself has ducked nobody - Haye, meanwhile, has openly done the ducking because he's his own man. Big difference.Comment

Yes, Khan's next move will determine if he belongs on a duckers list or not.Now that you point it out, sure. Maybe a bit chuckle-worthy. If he chooses to fight Maidana, he will definitely deserve respect.Comment
