Just because you fight someone else does not mean you are ducking another fighter. Secondly, Shane fought the man at Welterweight which was Margarito so how do someone when you are fighting the best fighter of that division? Thirdly, why isn't your boy Pavlik on the list? The guy clearly backed out of the Williams bouts, just to fight two weeks later. Donaire, Sturm, and Povetkin could easily be looked at as duckers since they still have yet to step up their competition. Your list is very bias and should contain more Europeans. Americans have always been tested and that is where the real competition has always been.

It has to be Mayweather.

It may be true that he had nearly 2 years off from boxing, but that doesn't just allow to him to claim sudden greatness by fighting a blown-up lightweight rather than a legit welterweight.

And it's also a shame that he ducked them because he has the skills to beat them, in my opinion.
