Dawson being on this list is laughable. Same with Williams being a name on Mayweather's list.
Who was the worst ducker of 2009?

Tarver was a mandatory rematch, so he had to fight him to keep the IBF belt. Then people kept whining about Johnson, so he had to shut them up too - including the old fart who kept crying robbery. Had he have faced Cloud, people would've still whined about Johnson. Damned if he does, etc.Originally posted by CarnivoreChad Dawson surrendered his IBF title rather than face Cloud, while rematching two 40 year old boxers he'd already defeated.
I'm sure he'll face Cloud soon, even though he's said some silly things in the past about him not being worthy or something (not what I wanted to hear, but he's young so it's excusable). In any case, it's much too early in his career for people like you to be talking rubbish about "ducking".
They'll fight. Just let it happen without spouting negative ****.Comment

Haye gets the benefit of the doubt for now. He backed out against Wlad because he wouldn't fight for free and he got offered a much easier route to a title than taking on Vitali. He's now got something to bargain with and should get a better deal than the ridiculous **** he was being offered. If he still won't fight a Klitschko in 2010 he deserves the criticism he's getting now.Comment

Exactly. It was already known that as soon as Khan defeated Kotelnik, Salita would be waiting for him. Even after the Ortiz win, Maidana was second in line. What was Khan supposed to do - drop the belt to fight Maidana for no belt at all? Come on.
Next year, however, if Khan doesn't fight Maidana then he'll be blatantly ducking. Then everyone can rightfully **** on him (or rather, Warren) for it.Comment
