Paul Williams will do himself a lot of good in the respect of fans if he fights Pavlik because he'll have Margarito, Wright, Martinez, and of course Pavlik on his resume at only 28 years old. It doesn't get much better than that.

Can't force someone to fight you tho..Pavlik pulled out of the Dec 5th date he had against Williams only to fight 2 weeks later against some nobody..

What are you talking about? The only guy that Mosley hasn't fought is Paul Williams and Mosley turned that down after he went up to Middleweight. In fact, I think Margarito's choice of opposition became opportunistic after he beat Cotto because he wouldn't rematch Williams when Williams was still at Welterweight and he viewed Mosley as an easy mark. And there was really no point in a Cotto-Margarito rematch for division clarity, and Margarito was headed in that direction anyway. He was willing to sit out a whole year, and Bob Arum had to knock some sense in his head and have him fight Mosley or his rep would've been damaged.

I like Margarito's style inside the ring, but I'm not gonna pretend that he's some kind of take on all comers at the drop of a hat type fighter either.

Paul Williams avoided Clottey,Dzinziruk,Pavlik and Quintana.

Margarito took a fight with Mosley as a tune up for a lucrative Cotto rematch.Antonio Margarito was legitimately avoided for a long time,not just some overhyped hype job like Paul Williams.


Had Paul Williams been in Margarito's position,then he would never have given an unproven,undefeated prospect a chance in the first place.

Well technically,he didn't cheat.We have as much proof that Antonio Margarito "cheated" throughout his entire career as we do that Mosley and Toney spent their entire career juicing.
