Welterweight division is fine without him

    if Clottey would get active..

    it's got:

    Bailey
    Berto
    Mosley
    Cotto
    Collazo
    Mayweather
    Pacquiao

    soon to have

    Alvarez
    De La Rosa
    Porter

What more does it need?..lol..but I agree..I wanna see the rematch as well..although I think Cotto will lose again..I wanna see it..I believe Margarito's style was wrong for him all along..but I can be wrong..and if Cotto works him to a UD or even goes to stop him..I'll be even more suspect of Margarito's last summers victory..

And how many of them would take the risks Margarito did?? Not Mayweather, not Pac, not Mosley, not Collazo, not Berto(especially).
WW ain't fine without him. Look how much better and more attractive it was when Margs was fighting.

No,I'm not mexican.I used the "supposed" mexicans as an example.Mexican fighters are supposed to be warriors, not quitters who back down at the slightest hint of a struggle.

What are you talking about? The only guy that Mosley hasn't fought is Paul Williams and Mosley turned that down after he went up to Middleweight. In fact, I think Margarito's choice of opposition became opportunistic after he beat Cotto because he wouldn't rematch Williams when Williams was still at Welterweight and he viewed Mosley as an easy mark. And there was really no point in a Cotto-Margarito rematch for division clarity, and Margarito was headed in that direction anyway. He was willing to sit out a whole year, and Bob Arum had to knock some sense in his head and have him fight Mosley or his rep would've been damaged.

I like Margarito's style inside the ring, but I'm not gonna pretend that he's some kind of take on all comers at the drop of a hat type fighter either.

Well they got no where to run now..they're the only ones left..

Collazo fought Berto it was close..now Berto's fighting Mosley..
Mayweather and Pac are "Superstars" but after each other..unless they retire they gotta fight someone like the winner of Berto-Mosley..and the losers gotta redeem himself and fight Cotto, Collazo, or the loser of Berto-Mosley..

besides..wasn't Margarito's excuse when he lost to Mosley that he was weight drained?..that it had nothing to do with him not having the wraps or getting caught..but more to do with him being "dry"..

so the possibility of him coming back to 147 is slim..he'll be at 154 when he comes back..

How many other fighters would take such a beating that Margarito took and go down with a smile?

Alfonso "I can't see ****" Gomez and Victor "I don't know if I wanna do this anymore" Ortiz, two supposed Mexicans packed their bags and headed home when the going got rough, and yet both these fighters are still given spots on HBO cards.

I and many others await the return of this man and will welcome him back with open arms, because we respect the sport of boxing and it's true warriors.

                  Fair enough..I apologize for assuming..

but Margarito is still a ***** for attempting to cheat..even if he didn't or wasn't proven..it's not like he'd admit if he actually did before..

Paul Williams takes on ALL comers from 147 to 160..why not praise him more than that piece of **** Margarito?..

Paul Williams will do himself a lot of good in the respect of fans if he fights Pavlik because he'll have Margarito, Wright, Martinez, and of course Pavlik on his resume at only 28 years old. It doesn't get much better than that.
