You think Pac takes steroids??? Ok.....prove it then. For Pac to say or do anything that could incriminate him such as take extra tests not required by boxing would be a violation of his 5th ammendment rights.

The burden of proof lies with the accuser, not the defendant. If you have no evidence but continue to insinuate that he is on some performance enhancing drugs because of the lack of evidence then that is slander and defamation.
Clearly you didnt read what i was responding to which was the quote:
"You cant hide anything from court."

My post had nothing to do with quilt or innocence. It was regarding the fact that yes you can lie and hide stuff from court. Hence the OJ remark.

Also Mayweather Jr or GBP has never insinuated that Manny was on roids. They simply asked for stricter testing.

All states except Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee recognize that some categories of statements are considered to be defamatory per se, such that people making a defamation claim for these statements do not need to prove that the statement was defamatory. In the common law tradition, damages for such statements are presumed and do not have to be proven. Traditionally, these per se defamatory statements include:

Allegations or imputations "injurious to another in their trade, business, or profession"
Allegations or imputations "of loathsome disease" (historically leprosy and sexually transmitted disease, now also including mental illness)
Allegations or imputations of "unchastity" (usually only in unmarried people and sometimes only in women)
Allegations or imputations of criminal activity (sometimes only crimes of moral turpitude) [5][6]

i'd like to see the quotes of those from gbp that have"said" that pac is on ped's...you can't sue someone for what they suspect ...or for asking for you to be tested before fighting you...it falls under the catagory of negotiation...

what is being assumed now is that no athlete in any sport can ask for his opponent to pass any kind of mutual test without being subject to legal action...if i've heard a rumor that my opponent has been sleeping with **********s and i ask for him to be aids tested before i'll fight him...according to what some of you think...i get sued...if my opponent starts showing symptoms of hepatitis c and i ask for him to be tested...i get sued...it doesn't work like that...

i can announce that i'm suing anyone for anything at all...and i can file papers to the effect that i wish to sue anyone for anything at all...and i can be thrown out of court...

      • People on here keeps talking about "all Pac needed to do was take the damn test." Random Olympic Drug testing is just that...random. Why is the results gonna be any different than the tests Pac requested he wanted right after the fight and the other tests they are willing to take? The BIG difference: The timing of the tests. Random drug tests can also mean more than one on fight night, which could possibly happen. Some athletes have been tested more than once during the day of competition in the Olympics and it has affected their performance in that sport. This is the ONLY reason Pacquiao doesn't want to take a USADA test, which is not necessary since NSAC is doing their job fine.

Now since he doesn't want to take the Olympic-style test, people are accusing him of HGH/performance-enhancing drugs? Give me a break. He has every right to take legal action since this affected a whole lot of people's perceptions based on what Mayweather Sr and people in Mayweather's camp assumes and supposedly tarnished or questions the credibility of his accomplishments.

So PBF has accused Pac of being on roids.

              • This lawsuit, if filed, wont go anywhere. Both Floyd's have said they suspect him taking something illegal and when Pac refused to testing, both Floyd's and everyone else's su****ion was increased leading us all to think there may be something there. Pure posturing by Pac/Arum but its a waste of time...theirs and ours! Now sit down, be semi-professional, come to a compromise so this thing can keep moving forward.
