Instead of asking, "why should Pacquiao (and Floyd) be subjected to this?" we should be asking, "why isn't EVERY fighter subject to this?"

I agree. Why does it take this fight for "proper" testing? Why is this not already implemented? Why is it being implemented off the back of baseless allegations by a crackhead?

true, but until it's mandatory for all it's bs to expect pac to have to do it because the predator makes accusations merely based on speculation.

IMDAZED, if you keep posting common sense posts I'm going to have to report you.

On a more serious note this Olympic style of testing should have been the accepted norm years ago.

I don't care if they're being implemented because Satan suggested it as long as it's done.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I can almost guarantee that if it's implemented for a fight of this magnitude, it won't be long until it becomes the norm. You have to start from somewhere, my friend.

true, very true, BUT.........it should not be implemented on some bs spewed by SR. It needs implementation by a neutral body...ie. the sanctioning bodies. The do it, and control it to keep it 50/50 i'm in agreement.

Well if he takes the test we would found out if he's clean, There was no evidence that Dwain chambers was taking TGH, There was no evidence that Marion jones or tim monty was taking anything but they were still rumours going around and guess what they were all true.

There is no evidence that Usain bolt is on any kind of drug but he still has to go through worse testing procedure to shut up doubters that athletic is clean and can be clean so why not our P4P best in boxing??

Well we all have to ask his opponents, If they feel they have any concern and Mayweather doesnt have anything to hide then why not?

What makes anyone think it's all about Floyd Sr. Didn't Jeff Mayweather just say that this rumor has been going around for the longest? And Mel, I can testify myself that this rumor is over a year old at least. EVERYONE in boxing circles knows, how much more guys like Arum, Schafer, Haymon, Ellerbe, etc? I have no doubts that these guys have discussed this over and over. And again, I don't care if it's being done because **** Cheney suggested it, make like Nike and JUST DO IT.

Thank you, I think every boxer should be subjected to this but if it takes the biggest fight of our era to start it off then so be it and am all for it.
