ive noticed freddy roach isnt very good if his plans go wrong....

if you look at the close fight roach fighters have been in:
    hopkins vs calazaghe
    pacquiao vs morales I
    pacquiao vs marquez both times

the roach fighters owned the first half rounds of those fights (except pac-marquez 2) but faded when there opponents adapted........if you look at those fights hopkins and pac were surviving the 2nd half off there own experience/physical abilities.....roach is very good at coming up with gameplans but when something changes he lacks that extra oomff for his fighters instructions.....

chances are his plans will go haywire march 13.......just a thought........

What I noticed is how much Pac improved in the Pac-JMM rematch.

        does not matter

No matter if Roach comes up with plan A-z, Pacmans ass is grass. He lacks the ABILTY to beat PBF. This fight is another Arturo gatti fight. Pacman has been led to believe he can box, which is not true. If he were to bum rush Mayweather and swing for the hills, he might could catch Mayweather with a lucky punch, if hes lucky. But hes not gonna do that because he thinks hes a boxer now. hes gonna come in the ring trying to out think, out counter Mayweather with his so called new found boxing skills, lol. If he plays chess with 'MONEY' he will never here the final bell.

It proves how much of a good trainer Roach is that he can fix mistakes and make a fighter better? I was talking about Roach. WTF are you talking about?

Why don't you ask championgee of bringing up Floyd?

I'm not sure Roach is that good a trainer. It kind of annoys me that he seems to share in a lot of the credit that should go to Pacquiao.

Nah, he's pretty good overall, and his strength as an analyst is remarkable.

The way he analyses a fighter, observes habits or mistakes that fighter makes, takes into account the strengths of his fighter, and then develops a gameplan based around that is second to none IMO.

Interesting you should say that, well of course yeah the lions share of credit goes to Manny for having the ability to do what he has done, but he wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Freddie. No way. Freddie tidied up Manny's style and developed it to the point where he is now a pretty good boxer who can box with all but the very best technical fighters, and he still retains his great punch and speed.
