Why is Dawson waiting so long to get back in the ring?

This fight is as marketable as it's going to get. The only way to make it more marketable is to have them fight on a double header maybe. But nobody including myself is interested in them fighting no hopers. Pascal with his collar bone and shoulder injury stands no chance against Dawson, and he was never as good as Cloud to begin with. If Dawson beats Cloud, he's got my respect.

If this is as marketable as its going to get, it won't happen then. Cloud has to do something to really create a buzz like ko Johnson leaving him layout out in the ring or something.

He can do that after he fights Dawson. I don't know how interested HBO is in Johnson anymore after how shot he looked against Dawson. His fight is on the nontelevised portion of the Berto-Mosley card. I don't think Cloud would KO Johnson, but he would beat him.

That just won't do as Dawson really you could argue shut Johnson out last time....Cloud needs to create a buzz for himself not just have a good record with 18 bums and 2 past prime names.

Why not? That was pretty much what Dawson's record was when Adamek gave him a shot like I've mentioned plenty of times before. Boxingwizard is one of the biggest Dawson fans on here and he wants Chad to get back in the ring ASAP. That is what you call a real boxing fan.

Adamek had a bigger fan base than Dawson did, and he could've moved up to Cruiserweight and never gave him his shot. Dawson needs to fight Cloud because it's the only fight in that division that isn't a mismatch. HBO has said that they are against televising mismatches. So why not televise this fight. And when you say this is Cloud's fault for this fight not happening is ridiculous. Cloud's team offered to fight on Dawson's undercard in his next fight and Dawson turned it down. So there's no other way to explain it other than Dawson being scared ****less of him.

Adamek's resume was not even as good as Dawson's at the time his best win was against Briggs for a vacant belt and Dawson at least had Harding on his resume. So it if anything was about even and Dawson won. I want to see the fight too with Cloud but for a guy who really want to be the man at 175 he has an odd way of showing it being so inactive allowing you to forget about him and all. Dawson if he is going to take the risk with a big puncher like him wants a big reward and right now there is none so why should he?

Now it would. Pascal could've maybe have been competitive with those guys before he injured himself, but not now. Dawson needs to quit fighting senior citizens and hospitalized fighters.

How do you know that Pascal won't be able to come back and be competitive?

By all the information I've read, Pascal should be ready and healthy to fight on the proposed date of June 19th.
