Yo Ray, Cotto wasn't "made" to fight at 145. He was given the option, he didn't have to sign no damn contract. Obviously, he had no issue with the weight, only the whiners make excuses about this. Pac was coming up such big weight, Cotto didnt mind dropping 2lbs at all. He thought he would beat pac and that is the bottom line.

After watching the fight Cotto looked great at 145 and weight is not the reason he lost. However going into the fight the catchweight was a tactic Roach was using to give Pacquiao the advantage otherwise that fight would have taken place at 147 where it should have. I belive Pac would have beat Cotto at 147 and it's a shame they didn't fight their because it takes a tiny bit away from getting his 7th title.

I agree 100 percent.Except that I don't beleve the fight would hvae taken place had Cotto refused the catchweight. I blame Roach for that. I don't believe Pacquio would have had a problem with 147.

Pac getting Cotto to fight at a catchweight of 145lb is similar to a litter dropping crime. Police would ignore it and so should people ignore Pacs catchweight with cotto.

PBF on the other hand getting people to step up 2 divisions, is similar to a murder or **** crime. Police wouldnt ignore it so PBFs crimes should be talked about.

I don't get why some people have a problem with Pac-Cotto being at 145... But, yet those same people didn't have a problem with Chavez-Whitaker being at 145? And, Chavez-Whitaker was a bigger fight. It was for the lineal belt not no bull**** wbo belt. It was the top 2 P4P fighter at the time. And, yet thy fought at a catchweight of 145. And, nobody cared. But, all of a sudden Pac-Cotto fights at 145 that's a ***** move or whatever. Is just makes no sense to me. There has been catchweight fights since old school days. Cotto would have lost either way even if he was allowed to fight at 147 but it really didn't help him that he had to weighin at 145. Roach obviously thought it would hurt Cotto
