SO MANNY DOESNT HAVE TO "BULK UP AND SLOW HIMSELF DOWN" TO FIGHT FOREMAN???? (WHO IS 154LBS, BTW) The May vs Pac is agreed upon 147, and even it was 154lb he was gonna do it to fight for the 8th title so whats the problem??....MAY VS MANNY WITH NO TITLE(WHICH IT IS) WILL BE BIGGER THAN A 8TH TITLE FIGHT WITH FOREMAN,,,WHO IS FOREMAN ANYWAY??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You were asking why would Pac go up in weight to fight Foreman at 154 and not want to go to 154 to fight Floyd right?

There is a title to gain there by fighting Foreman. There is no title to gain by fighting Floyd there especially after the fight has been agreed upon at 147. Therefore it makes sense to fight Floyd at the agreed upon weight of 147.

Pac is not going to gain a title by fighting Floyd, you are correct. They would be fighting for the number 1 p4p spot and the right to be called the best ww in the world......since they are both ww's. I hope this is an easier to read explanation of my previous post.

    • You know what guys....?

1 thing I can say about MAYWEATHER is that he's not ******. He won't allow a catch weight. Mabe that's how MANNY won against OSCAR and COTTO. There was indeed a stipulation in the contract that said neither 1 could rehydrate over 147lbs on the night of the fight!!! If you watch and know the signs of a weight-drained fighter, both OSCAR and COTTO were weight drained and I like MANNY! No doubt he has power and is a special fighter but NO WAY he takes COTTO body and head shots like he did unless COTTO was weight drained. He hurt COTTO with every punch. CLOTTEY couldn't even do that! So, what do you guys think?? Is MANNY just that special or did the weight affect these fighters???

          Paul Williams at 154
          Sergio Martinez at 154

          and remain undefeated.

Haha.....why don't you just add vlad and vitali to your list @ HW. Dude if you take Floyd @ 140 vs Manny @ 140 Floyd wins all day. In all seriousness Manny has a much better chance today @ welter. Floyd has been inactive and IMHO didn't look so good against JMM....he should hav been able to get the TKO in under 10. Mosley vs May is what i really want to see.

As for Williams he is significanty weaker @ 147 than @ 154. He is open to be hit. The reason he keeps winning is that no one can deal with the volume and he has a superb chin. Floyd would blunt his offense all day. Floyd is a master at controlling distance....see corrales fight. He has great footwork. Simply he has all the tools required to beat a guy like Williams. FYI - Martinez beat Williams. Sure he may have landed fewer punches but this isn't amatuer boxing....he was landing cleaner and harder all night.....the proof is on Williams face. People talk about Williams like he is the king anywhere from 147-168. He should stick to 54 and 60. There are plenty of boxers who will beat him @ 168.

Also i see you know have Martinez on your list. Mate quite honestly if PBF fought and beat all the guys you have there you would just start adding more new names. Thats what Floyd detractors do.

A while back that list was

          Judah @ 147
          Baldomir @ 147
          Hatton
          Oscar Delahoya

          Then it was

          Cotto
          Margarito

Then after a Mosley resurgence he was added to the list. Then Paul Williams, then Pacman (after he defeated Cotto) and now Martinez. If Floyd sticks around Tim Bradley will eventually be on a new list of fighters floyd can't beat, aliong with Alvarez (if he keeps winning) etc etc.

              Period.

              Look at what happened.
Good point. But Floyd is no Ricky Hatton by a long shot.

HARD Fact: If Floyd was WHITE, there would be NO CAMPAIGNS, only AWARD CEREMONIES and DVD sells, even if he had only fought local pub bums all his life.

A White guy 40-0 would immediately be named ROCKY no matter what is name or ideals were. He could be a fking **** and would still be loved and protected by the public and the media. He would be selling 40 Million PPVs fighting carefully selected people, not the p4p ranks and champions one after the other with no breaks.

Floyd is really an ATG, the one true ATG and everyone who tries to hate on him or discredit him, NO MATTER WHAT JUSTIFICATION they use (****y, disrespectful, women rapist, gay), we know they are just RACIST ENVIOUS people who deserve nothing but HATE BACK at them.
Do you mean white guys like the respect the Klit brothers get? What a load of absolute bull$het.

Oscar was so drained that after his fight night weigh-in, he was being fed power bars and water as he was entering the ring. Shameless advantage by Pac.
i want to see some proof / link to the contract perhaps?
