    • hey solly6 you're probably the only ****** ass in this website. are you really dumb enough to not take a 30million dollar fight in order to fight a big name. i sure as hell would'nt be ****** as you are.no fighter fights for free.if you chose a legacy fight over a $30million fight then i see why your name is solly6

but who exactly did Manny make come down to 145 from 154?

        DLH?

It was Oscar who pursued that fight.

What unfair advantage did Manny have over Cotto who has a history of coming in at less than 147? Are you telling me that it was the one pound that made Cotto get his **** pushed in?

        Cotto came in at

        146 vs Quintana
        146.5 vs Judah
        146.25 vs Mosley
        146.50 vs Gomez
        146 vs Clottey

In 9 fights at welterweight, Miguel Cotto has weighed in at less than 147 pounds 5 times. Again, for the slow and ******,

Miguel Cotto has come into a welterweight fight at less than 147 pounds for over half of his fights at welterweight.

Or, is your simple simon ass saying that in those five fights, Miguel Cotto chose to put himself at a disadvantage?

What ever happened to you dumb clowns saying, "its not the weight that matters, its the skills that pay the bills"?

        "oh, but that was different"
Yes De la Hoya pursued the fight at 145 because Roach threaten to pull out of fight if it wasnt at that weight! with that said They were gonna move up to 154 to fight foreman before May agreed and yes AFTER 2ND FIGHT (OR IS IT 3RD) FIGHT IN DIVISION....Sooo why would you move up in weight to fight Yuri foreman if you have only been in division what is it, 2 or 3 fights?? And Mosely and Paul Williams is willing to fight you at 147??? im sure its a reasonable explanation, But the fact is If May is a cherry picker than so is Roach and Manny!!!!

        • It will be interesting to see floyds antics before the fight at the press conferences and stuff. Will he be loud, brash and disrespect manny? Or will he be respectful?

I think he will be disrespectful lol

                  • It's going to be interesting to see if Manny can adapt to Floyd jr's defensive skills.Manny was never in there with a guy with Floyd jr's skill level.
Hey,if Manny can pull this one off i will consider him the best modern day fighter for sure..hands down.

Face it dude, Hatton was completely outclassed and exposed in that fight. Truth be told, it was not like he lost a disputed decision. He was KNOCKED OUT! Say it with me, Hatton had not chance and was KNOCKED OUT! I know this may be hard to accept, say it with me RICKY HATTON was knocked out. He was Ali Funeka'd or Paulie Malignaggi 'd. There was nothing to dispute.
Hatton was knocked out. But because it was at 147, with home advantage to PBF. These 2 advantages werent enough for PBF. He then had a word with the ref before the fight telling the ref to protect him from hattons rough approach to boxing for good measures to make sure he gave himself the best opportunity to win, even before they even stepped into the ring.

So basically PBF knows anyone can beat him, and he makes sures he does his best job to prevent himself losing on the negotiating table before the actual fight even happens. PBF will get no credit for his win over hatton.

Pac is the one who will get the credit for demolishing Hatton in 2 rounds. All you need to do is tell pac who he is fighting and what day the fight is and at what stadium. He just turns up, does his job, and goes home. No talking to referees to help him and stuff like PBF needs.
