ignore these people. They listen to freddie roach too much. Fyi - numbers do lie. Theres even a good book on the subjesct. "how to lie using statistics." compubox stats are especially unreliable. Sometimes they are a great indicator of exactly how a boxing match played out. Other times they are misleading. I will elaborate. Have a look at the punch stats for mayweather vs chavez......very even...about the same actually.....yet chavez and his team threw in the towel after the 7th (if i am not mistaken). Why? Mayweather was hitting him with the cleaner, accurate, harder and more effective punches.
Your other point is spot on though. If floyd throws 30 punches a rd and lands @ 50% and the other guy throws 50 and lands @ 20%....floyd is still going to win.
i agree with bad news williams might have a shot to beat floyd but if u watch his last fight he is very hittable and watch how floyd took out corrales if i was floyd i would jump to fight williams he would kill paul and manny dont have a chance against this kind of fighter he never seen a fighter with floyd skills
You are too confident with your boy...Too much can kill
Most everybody knows that Manny will always be short to Floyd Jr .... in height. That's a fact, but the outcome of their probable fight remains to be seen. He can talk fantastic about himself against anybody else but there's always the first time. He's older with fewer experience. Manny is younger with more experience .... who knows the aparador? Let's see after the fight .... ....
well when you're the favorite in every fight you're in, i seriously doubt anyone will beat him. when is mayweather going to fight a fight where it's a pick'em at least or where he could be an underdog......... oh, i know, never........ this is the closest we'll get to that with pacquiao, you know mayweather isnt trying to fight shane, not until shanes soften up from fighting tough fights......
i see u didnt get the memo. shane turned pbf down for fights TWICE!!!!!
