I think Cotto was tougher and although Manny didn't make it look that way, it was the harder of the 2 fights. Floyd can't dodge punches for 12 rounds, he can't trade with Manny at any point, and he can't match Manny's workrate. Manny has this in the bag! And I swear, if Floyd tries to throw a jab and jog for 12 rds, either A.) Manny will be like, F this I aint' chasing no more and stand in the middle like he did to Cotto telling him to f*kin fight already!, or B.) the crowd assaults the ring to slap Floyd in the face for wasting their hard earned money.
Around the time of the fight I'm going to put 1,000 of real money on Floyd. You willing to put 1,000 real money of Manny? If so we can set it up in February on a online betting site.

that will blow chunks if you lose that bet. This fight is to high end to bet on like that. Unless you got coin to waste.

I don't have cash to waste right now i need to save for school

doesn't matter though, betting 1 g isn't going to cement a victory for Floyd. Everyone loses one day if they fight the best, and Manny is the best and he's in his prime.

Pacquiao has the strength of Hatton, the speed of Judah and the workate of Castillo. As long as Pacquiao offensively assaults Mayweather for 12 rounds he's got it in the bag. Non of this "controlled ring generalship" - A guy like Pacquiao isn't going to be blinking every time Mayweather feints, nor is he going to sit his ass down in the middle of the ring and Let Floyd touch his belly with his jab.

I don't think Floyd can take his punches and I'd be surprised if this fight goes 12 rounds.

my reason being: Judah, a quick southpaw was fuqing him up for the first 5 rounds and it get's labelled as Mayweather adapting. WRONG, it was all Judah fading. He fades in all his fights. Pacquiao doesn't fade, and he's straight up better than Judah. I mean, at least Judah stayed in Floyds comfort zone.

Most Floyd fans won't even read this and will conjure up some jargon explaining to me why i'm wrong, which if I am, will apologize.

I think Floyds only way to win is if he can somehow run and clinch effectively against a man as strong and as skilled Pacquiao.
apples you know your stuff but you keep making the same thread over and over. OK, we get that you don't think Floyd's defence will be 100% effective and we get that you think pressure is the key to a Pacquiao win......But do you have to keep making threads about essentially the same topic?

Juan Diaz and Evander Holyfield presented really good analysis on how this fight will play along if certain things happen, they both say that sheer volume of punches will pile up points and I agree.

You take in the Judah bout but you don't consider that Marquez, a counter puncher, hung with Pacquiao and Barrera outboxed Manny. Floyd is heads and shoulders above these guys.

Even if Floyd loses a step or loses his reflexes he is still going to be hard to beat because he is fundementaly sound. How can you say his D is based off athleticism? Dude has his technique down pat. RJ dont have that
Agree 100%. Floyd is the best defender in my opinion. Don't understand why people are doubting his abilities. To say it's based on athleticism is ridiculous. He definitely still be a threat when age hits him, Bernard isn't great offensively so Floyd should survive but I doubt he continues to box for a long period of time.
