Don't get it twisted, the winner of this fight will be the greatest fighter of our era. If Floyd beats Pac, this will only confirm what he's been trying to tell everyone his whole career. If Pac beats Floyd, then they hype becomes fact. He will be cemented as an ATG. This is what makes this fight so important, there is no more discrediting based on past fights, no nit-picking resumes. This will end the debate.

You can't convince some people of that. When I asked, they said that no matter what happens, Pac is far and away beyond.

I've been reading on this board about what a scrub Floyd is.

Apparently, Floyd is a ducking, running, overrated, feather-fisted, gay, scaredy cat who has avoided all decent opposition. The man is a complete, thorough and unabashed FRAUD.

That's fine. Opinions vary.

But when Manny beats that C+ fighter, then Pacquaio doesn't really deserve any credit for that...right? I mean, even the most ardent Pac fan wasn't thumping their chests about Pac beating Solis. Sure, a win is a win. But how much does it really mean to beat a guy several levels below you. Right?

You can't have it both ways. Either:

Floyd is a great fighter, and a win over FMJ is a tremendous accomplishment

Floyd is a fraud, and a win over him does not enhance your resume one bit.

You put it like an intellectual.The irony is 'This is Manny's greatest fight','This is the biggest fights since Leornard'-I mean how can a C+ fighter be involved in the 'biggest fight in history'.

HBO were very clear to both camps 'We wont sanction any other fight,this fight is a must now,not later'

People check even Arum didnt want to bull**** this fight,he went to the Philipines and told Manny,'Dont bull**** me now,you got to sign this fight' there were no negotiations,what Manny usually does about ignoring calls and noone knowing where he will be was non existant.All because he wants to fight 'Gayweather',Fraud Mayweather' etc.
