Manny is a great fighter and should provide a stiff test if he had a couple different attributes that he does not have I think he could very well beat Floyd but as it stands now I don't like his chances.

As for Manny he is a great fighter but I certainly think you can debate how great he is, same with Floyd though. Either man would be the best fighter the other guy has beaten so both would deserve a lot of credit for winning one way or the other
if more people thought like this nsb would actually be tolerable ...

That's why I say that "Undefeated" 24/7 was the best one ever. By the time Floyd got kicked off DWTS and 24/7 was in full roll, i hated Hatton and his fans so much.

When Hatton said "if Floyd tries to fight me inside, he'll get eaten", I was ready to lace 'em up and bust Ricky's up. LOL

      That was great hype.

I agree with you there. I really thought that if Chico got his hands on Mayweather he would hurt him. I was very surprised at how easy Floyd made that fight look.

Also, after Zab came here to the Lou and knocked out Spinks, I thought that if anyone were to beat Floyd, it would be Zab.

You were not concerned about Gatti catching Floyd with something?

Hell no, I made a bunch on that fight betting saps that though like that. I thought maybe Gatti could keep it close because he actually did have some skill to go with his toughness, but I never really doubted that Floyd would win a decision.

How it played out was fairly suprising though.

As soon as Hatton lost, most Hatton fans broke out

I mean, they really believed in Hatton, most have hurt. Remember Willey Hyena?

Apparently, Floyd is a ducking, running, overrated, feather-fisted, gay, scaredy cat who has avoided all decent opposition. The man is a complete, thorough and unabashed FRAUD.

                      That's fine. Opinions vary.

But when Manny beats that C+ fighter, then Pacquaio doesn't really deserve any credit for that...right? I mean, even the most ardent Pac fan wasn't thumping their chests about Pac beating Solis. Sure, a win is a win. But how much does it really mean to beat a guy several levels below you. Right?

You can't have it both ways. Either:

Floyd is a great fighter, and a win over FMJ is a tremendous accomplishment

                      -or-

Floyd is a fraud, and a win over him does not enhance your resume one bit.
Don't get it twisted, the winner of this fight will be the greatest fighter of our era. If Floyd beats Pac, this will only confirm what he's been trying to tell everyone his whole career. If Pac beats Floyd, then they hype becomes fact. He will be cemented as an ATG. This is what makes this fight so important, there is no more discrediting based on past fights, no nit-picking resumes. This will end the debate.
