Never been a time where (IMO) Mayweather was gonna face an opponent who had this much a chance of beating him. So my question to all, any other Mayweather fans feeling the same way?
This is obviously BOTH of their biggest challenges to date. But when athletes of this magnitude have their biggest and best challenges, they tend to raise their game even higher. So I fully expect for Pac to raise May's game and May to raise Pac's game. It should be very intriguing and I could see where many ppl are 50/50 on this fight.
It's not even Christmas yet?! They haven't even had a press conference. At least the Hattonites waited until Floyd acted a fool at the presser before they lost their minds.
And the FloydCrew didn't hate Ricky until the 24/7 smack talk from Manchester.
The venom on here is bananas.
You can't be surprised big dawg. The fire for this one been buildin since Pac-Diaz. It's gonna be like this til fight nite.
I'm wit the concept of this thread but don't expect it to change **** homey.
Hence why people say a win over Pacquiao doesn't prove anything for Floyd but a Pacquiao win over Mayweather makes Pacquiao a legend.
If people actually see Pacquiao as a threat to Mayweather then they would have said the winner of this fight will be the better man. But that's not the case, people still say that regardless of how Pacquiao losses he's still better than Mayweather and that Mayweather has nothing to gain from beating Pacquiao.
Maybe that is what drives Floyd fans to say these things about Pacquiao. I'm just saying.
yea..I see what you are saying Kev..I have seen the bold being said.

In all honesty, I felt that Oscar had a better chance to beat Floyd than Pac does. That is not a dis at Pac. It's just that the style that I feel would trouble Floyd is the big-man approach.
I remember riding in the car to my boy's house for The World Awaits, and I was telling my girl that 'Floyd may lose tonight'.
She's a big FMJ fan. I'll get her to kick some boxing on Horus' next call.

I disagree, I thought Genaro was going to be a very tough matchup for him, I thought Manfready was going to be a really tough fight, I though Corrales was going to be a very tough challenge, I thought JLC in the second fight had a real good shot of winning, I thought Zab would offer a stiff test.
Manny is a great fighter and should provide a stiff test if he had a couple different attributes that he does not have I think he could very well beat Floyd but as it stands now I don't like his chances.
As for Manny he is a great fighter but I certainly think you can debate how great he is, same with Floyd though. Either man would be the best fighter the other guy has beaten so both would deserve a lot of credit for winning one way or the other

Interesting, I wasn't worried about Oscar at all. Pacquiao O.o
I agree with every post in this thread so far. These are the two best fighters of the decade, it's time for people on both sides to realize this. Hopefully everyone will be able to enjoy this fight for what it is, and not just fill their heart with hatred of whichever guy they aren't rooting for. Appreciate these two, because with the rising popularity of MMA, it could be a long wait until a fight between two spectacular fighters like this happens again.
mosley vs floyd.... or even berto? a margarito cotto match would be very interesting also.. or a cotto moseley rematch.. another match will eventually come threw... ufc aint got **** to offer other then matching guys who have lost already like griffin vs ortiz
