Marquez changed his style? How? Mayweather? How? Hopkins? How? How did they change their style?

When Roy lost his speed and reflexes what SKILLS did he have to fall back on to still be an elite fighter.

Like Marquez, Hopkins and Floyd has.

They changed their style to adapt to their aging bodies, Roy didn't change alot. He lost his quick reflexes etc, does that mean he was never talented? I don't understand your logic.

Roy wasn't very talented because he ****** when he got older?

You're mistaking an unorthodox style (facilitated by great athleticism) with lack of skill.

While we are talking about this, what do you think of Ali? He relied on reflexes too, wasn't he talented?

Are you dense? You think you're just born being able to throw a left hook, let alone arguably the best in the game during his prime? Use your head. Roy Jones was immersed in learning the basics from the time he was a kid. There was no way he could've gone on to throw triple hooks and uppercuts without a deep understanding of the basics. Jones was very well-schooled and I believe John Scully has spoken on this countless times. Anyone who has listened to Roy commentate and thinks he just got by on natural talent (whatever that means), isn't very bright.

Marquez went from pure counterpunching assassin, to more of a mix it up style where he took more chances. He was winning too easily before that.

He only did it for the fans.

If Marquez stays a pure counterpuncher, nobody ever beats him.
