Of course youre speaking on it racially and your answer is yes he is.

I have actually read that book...sorry champ!I recommend that you read Unforgivable Blackness. Then, you might realize how utterly ****** this post was. The two are not even comparable. You should also consider doing research on American Civil Rights and the racism in the country from the late 1800s till the 1970s. I know I shouldn't be but I am a little shocked at how people could be so blind or ignorant to history. You got some reading to do, son.
and if you read what i posted, I am merely speaking about his style and technique .....his style was to outsmart his opponents, be defensive & counterpunch
he was flashy & ****y outside the ring as well
in no way am i implying that Mayweather is enduring all that he had too....why must you attack me when my post isn't negative in anyway.
and you presuming that I am unaware of racism in America being an African American male and having great relatives whom were ****** makes you sound ignorant.Comment

If you're making a claim that there were similarities between the two, then fine, you have a point to make.I have actually read that book...sorry champ!

But to compare the hate that the two recieved is so ignorant it's untrue.Comment

You are comparing a guy who's claim to fame is beating 2 40 year olds and retiring to have his "legacy" shattered for him in retirement to a 5 weight class champion who has faced other champions in non catchweight fights all his career and never lost. They are not comparable. Also people don't hate on Calzaghe, they simply don't care because skill is apparent to the eye and if you ever tried to make Calzaghe look good in an highlight video you'd find your job frustrating whereas Floyd is easy to make look good. They are just not comparable, the only thing in common is the 0 they have.
All I'm saying is that if Floyd was white people wouldn't treat him that way. Comparing to the movies, the people who grew up seeing Morgan Freeman kiss ass all his career backing invariably white stars in support rolls may feel well thinking they are not racist because they love Freeman. In the moment you show them Han**** they don't feel ok about it. It takes generations to change these things. The same happened to Ali, people used to hate him for his big mouth, now he's a legend and the GOAT for HWs anyway.Comment

i am speaking about his style INSIDE the RING...
he didnt get credit for his style because he was slick and defensive...he outsmarted a lot of fighters that could only come forward and brawl....he came into the game with a style no one had ever witnessed the THEY refused to give him creditComment
