This is the type of idiot who makes this site depressing at times.

Yeh, anyone else think he might not have put all his power on because he didn't want a Byrd fight repeat? (Injuring himself and having to quit.)

It's true that this wasn't one of Vit's better fights, but really it speaks volumes for him that he can pitch a shutout on a relatively highly ranked opponent and people are reacting like they are. The curse of having a 98% (or is it 97% now?) KO ratio, I guess.

so johnson fights a **** fight and ya'll bash vitali who won every round??why because he isnt american???ya'll are **** fans and dont even deserve to watch boxing..my god how biased can people get...it makes me sick to log on here somedays..this site has been flooded with non educated people who cant even analize a ****ing fight
agreed.. it also helps in analyzing if one has a basis of knowledge, training, and experience to be able to draw from. and u know maybe 1% of us here have that. u can usually tell who they are though.

high percentage constantly have kneejerk reactions to the fights.

Johnson didn't come to win. He came to survive it would seem. It was near impossible for vitali to look excellent when johnson 'fought' like he did
and agreed.. there is always an extreme reaction on boxing messege boards. although this is the only one i ever read consistantly. anyways, i have been here since 2003. same ****** people make the same types of comments over and over. ya just gotta get used to it.

i thought about that. it seemed like johnson only wanted to be able to brag that he could **** 12 with vit.

well, he cant. not by boxing anyway.

he was bent over, horizontally and parallel to the floor for almost half of every round. u know how hard it is to hit somebody who just turtle shelled up?

now, if he tried to trade with vitali, we would probably have seen a 9th round ko or something similar.

but, i guess just surviving against him has became an accomplishment in itself.

Whatever that is still an accomplishment to last the distance with Vitali, how many other fighters can say that they have done that?

Good post. YEah half the time Vitali had his right ****ed but paused because if he threw it it would have landed on the back of Johnson's head. After the 50th time it happened he should have just started belting him.

Bending below your opponents waist is against the rules and i think it should be enforced more often, give warnings. Alot of idiots are using it recently.

Well he did have 2 instances of "aggression". At the end of the 11th he talked **** to Vitali after the bell. then after the 12th bell sounded he started talking **** again & getting in Vitali's face. Volodymyr was in the ring and calmly kinda put his hand on Johnsons shoulder half like "good fight" half like "take a step back from Vitali" and Johnson shrugged him off all ****ing spaz like and looked like he was going to hit him for a second.

Vova was smiling and looked like he was ready to exchange if Johnson grew a pair. Would have loved to see Vova land a bare fisted right on Johnsons face.
