PPl who hate the K Bros always say this stuff. Remeber when he dominated Peters...same shyt "Man Vitali's old and should retire) LOL this old eastern euro just keeps dominating every opponent. Now Chambers and Haye will Kill VK....LOL these kids are sad realy. He is slower cause of his age, but I don't see any one except his lil Bro that can beat him even at this stage in his career

Vitali looked slow, easy to counter and had NOTHING behind his punches. Johnson was there for the taking.

        he brought the following moves to this fight;

        jab
        bend over to avoid punishment
lean back against the ropes and eat vitali's jab

        that's about it
I think he got caught with some stuff early that he didn't like, and decided actually throwing punches wouldn't work.

And when he got hit, he showboated, and/or bent over.

I don't blame Vitali, I blame Johnson for stinking the joint out completely.

I have a feeling he got caught with something early which made him gun shy.

Johnson had a decent defense that involved using shoulder rolls and bending down at the waist, reeeal low sometimes.

He was in suvival mode the entire fight and had no interest in fighting. Vitali had a hard time landing right hands due to this. Those 2 things pretty much ensured that it would be a boring ****ing fight, which it was.

Good defense, no heart = **** to watch

No Vitali didn't "age over night" like some people are saying. Sadly alot on this forum don't understand **** about boxing so cuz it went the distance it means "Vitali has no power". He spent a ****load of time just feinting, trying to get Johnson into a position where he could land a punch. HE also didn't load up on alot of his shots cuz he knew he wasn't landing clean.

Alot of times Johnson was bent below Vitali's waist, at a certain point i just wanted him to start T-ing off on the back of Johnsons head so he'd stop doing it. Bending below your opponents waist is illegal

Johnson came to survive and collect paycheck.

It is hard to look good against such opponent, Vitali did what he usually does, but Johnson was so pasive, it was hard to do anything.

Vitali didn't put one of his better performances, he tried, but you can't do a lot with such opponent.

Embarassing performance by Johnson, at least try to win the fight.

Vitali had the chance to KO Johnson but he couldn't because he was too damn slow and when he did hit Johnson the punches had no power in them.

The amount of times Johnson taunted Vitali hanging his chin out was laughable.

Vitali looked as good as always, but Kevin Johnson came just to survive the 12 rounds, he wasn't even trying to win.

I won't be able to judge until I watch the fight, but I wonder if Vitali refused to commit to throwing with power because of how defensive Johnson was. A big swing that hits air doesn't get you very far.
