He would have gotten destroyed if he engaged with Pacquiao

Your right on everything. He's need firm guidance in the corner, not a buddy who cheers him on and gives him no tactical advice.

Cotto should have gone to Marquez trainer for the pacquiao fight... think about it, instead of that amateur, even a non expert like me would have told Cotto keep doubling up on the jab and dance around the ring clockwise to avoid the left hand. hands up do no trade unless u have to.

a pound and a half is hardly a difference is not a good excuse, Cotto had fought at lightwelter in the past, nothing to do with taking the punches at all, he just couldnt take them, Pac punches hard with speed and accuracy and cotto couldnt see them coming, ppl cant believe the "little mans power" it was no fluke he put cotto hatton marquez etc on the floor

its actually a great excuse..im not making excuses just observation...he fought at jr welter and looked like a skeleton...im not saying his power was a fluke cotto could not see them coming...i just think with his uncle he would have been way better even if he didnt win he would have been more competitive...he looked skinny compared to other fights at welter
