This will hurt Floyd PPV value.. People pay to watch him finally lose and once that happens he will be on HBO for free..

Whoever he loses to (assuming the loss was reasonable) would get a rematch for a BIGGER amount.

It depends how he loses. If he fights his heart out and loses a close decision or gets stopped in a war, then he has no reason to be ashamed.

It does hurt his drawing power because he short-sightedly put so much emphasis on being undefeated, when in reality fans don't care about records in boxing, they just want to see great fights. Most of his drawing power is that he plays the villain who everyone wants to see get knocked off. When he does get beaten, where does he go from there?

The self proclaimed greatest fighter ever, and the media is already on his back for not fighting the top welters, not to mention guys like Merchant pointing out he is not the most exciting fighter around..

If he loses it will be a field day, if he gets blown out and kod it would be even worse.

yes, because floyd's self-professed argument for greatness is his undefeated record. without it he isn't so special.

If he losses it will be the end of his career. The whole reason he is huge to the casual fan is because of his undefeated record and he makes it no secret that he has never been beaten. He is always bashing fighters because of their losses, so that is the one thing he is hanging on to. If he loses the PPV buys will not be there for him, meaning smaller pay days, and since hes in the mind set of huge paydays I doubt he takes a small one. If Floyd keeps winning he will keep fighting but a loss will end his career imo.

where did i say i hated the guy im actually somewhat of a fan. THe suicide was a bit overboard but u can tell that losing that 0 on his record would destroy him mentally.
