my theory..

theyll start slow feeling each other out..
pac throws 1-2 combos a couple of jab jab straight left, a few left hand leads..
mayweather will play his D, countering and having some success..

after a couple of rounds pac will get a lot more aggressive...
he's gonna start landing but mayweather will start landing more counters as well..

then itll start to end when mayweather gets tagged hard while trying to counter, because pac has gotten better with countering counters, and even if he does get hit, he can still throw KD/KO punches in the middle of an exchange.

after this floyd will decrease his punch output even more, paq will just chase him down and cut him off and flurries on the ropes. down goes mayweather, or SR throwing the towel and yelling "you're on steroids! you cheater!"

i win 200 dollars and then some since pac is the underdog.

I see two ways this can play out. One thing is for sure, its not gonna be a walk in the park for either guy.

If Manny starts quick and outworks Floyd I can see him winning alot of rounds at the beginning as Floyd tries to figure him out. Floyd may fall behind and may even take a knockdown trying to adjust to Mannys workrate. If Manny starts catching Floyd he may hurt him down the stretch and Floyd will just try to survive and slow the pace. He may find himself too far behind...there two things he can do either try to just survive or trade and go for a knockout, which will be tough but maybe it would bring out the best in him. If Manny starts wearing Floyd down he can stop him, and theres always the possibility of the one shot fight changer ala Cotto.

I think what may be more likely is that Floyd will bring out his ring generalship and use movement to confuse Manny. When Manny does get close enough to punch Floyd will tie him up and stop his workrate. Floys is very good on the inside using his elbows and after he throws he usually steps in and pushes his opponent to keep him off balance and from getting reset. If Floyd frustrates Manny enough Manny may open up and catch something hard. I dont see Floyd stopping Manny but I can see him using his ring smarts to make Manny walk into punches and may end up hurting him.

One thing is for sure, if Floyd cant slow Manny down its gonna be a rough night for him.

Floyd will get worn out by Manny's punches. Manny's going to get hit alot and on clever timing, no doubt about that, but he'll move forward and catch Floyd with big ones

i like your analysis. i want to see floyd have a fight against an able fighter, if he can neutralize pacs assault all credit to him. only a special fighter can beat this pac.

Here's something to think about. Floyd is 40-0. He cherry/handpicks his oppenents knowing he's going to win. He picks Pacquiao. hmmmmm

I'll keep it short

My prediction: Fight will be very close (SD maybe). Manny will be very busy and aggressive but won't land anything significant. Mayweather wins.
