my take..........i think manny showed in the cotto and jmm fight that he doesnt like movement..hell in the cotto fight he str8 up got frustrated...i think he's been matched with a certain style his entire career and in this fight that will be exposed..floyds fought every style there is....if he was frustrated with cotto's movement...floyd might make him pull some hair out of his head...floyd will use angles and distance and cut mannys workrate in half..manny will give floyd trouble in the first 4 rounds imo with his speed and southpaw stance..but i think once floyd times him and gets his rhytmn him left hooks and lead rights will bust manny up..i see floyd winning maybe 8-4 ud or late stoppage

as long as pac is not wreckless and uses his natural strengths smartly against floyd then i dont see what floyd can do. controlled agression whith speed and movement quck bursts when floyds in position, floyd wont be able to do ****.

I see Floyd winning atleast 2 of the first 3 rounds, pretty close rounds but he lands cleaner then Manny. After that Manny gradually wears him down (Floyd might win a round or two though) and then stops him in the 9-12th.

I think that either fighter can win. If Manny is as accurate as he always is, can come in with those weird angles and is able to find Floyd throughout the night, it's game over for Floyd.

If Floyd's genius defense is enough to stop Manny from landing, it's game over for Manny.

Really, they both have the exact styles and amazing tools that can cause the other guy problems, it's all a matter of who is better at it.

I won't choose a winner or a round or anything till closer to fight night, and even then it's a toss up. The one thing I am curious about is if Mayweather comes in overweight again.

Stripping all the bull**** away,and just concentrating on the fight, my gut feeling is that Floyd wins a close,but fair decision much as that pains me to say. I would love to see Pacquiao win,and will be cheering him on all the way, but I have a feeling that Floyd is going to raise his game in this one,and actually show what he looks like he can do.

I will never be more happy to be proved wrong.

i believe floyd will win based on the fact he's a seasoned ring general. you can't surprise this guy. he had a long amateur career which by and large was harder than his pro career.

i sternly believe that manny pacquiao represents the hardest challenge of floyd's life. he'll have to box perfectly to beat pacman. pac is not a slow fighter, he's not a fighter with a low iq and he has hand speed.

the problem for manny is that he's only effective when he's throwing punches in bunches from different angles. throwing punches in bunches against a guy like floyd could lead to manny being knocked out himself (the "check left hook" might come into play again).

i could see floyd-manny playing out similar to williams-martinez (floyd = martinez, manny = paul williams). the difference is floyd is better than martinez and i'm not too sure manny is really any better than p willy (which isn't a diss).

counterpunching thinkers give manny the most problems. that's why jmm has been so successful against him. these kind of fighters love using manny's aggression against him. floyd is the king of counterpunchers.

i see a mayweather victory.
