    true story
Then Pacquiao WHOOPED DLH in 8
Hatton in 2 *at his best weight*
    and TKO'd Cotto

while Floyd was getting chased by the IRS
and fighting making Marquez fight at welterweight then fight a REAL welterweight

There were different commentators saying that floyd left because he didn,t want to fight top w.w. Fighters and is that why he was crying because deep in his heart he knew it was true???

It's no secret that Floyd was hiding from Margarito and Cotto. To make it worsts, he tried to downplay them as not being worthy enough for him.

naw...i think at that time ..the winner of that fight's stock wasnt up enough...

if anyone thinks that one of the best technical boxers EVER was AFRAID of Margarito then they are insane..

they are avg fighters...nothing special...tough yes...but not special at all

                  this is my theory.....

I think he felt like Marg & Cotto wouldnt bring enough $$$$$ to the table

he told Margarito....get ur stock up and we will fight...

Cotto was countering Margarito easily....I see no reason why Floyd couldnt do the same

because he would still have to pay sanctioning fee's for the 2 belts he held in 2 weight classes and fighters would be continuously calling him out for a pay day....makes sense to me

People forget that boxing isn't just about the fights. It's a tough lifestyle that requires discipline and dedication to remain at the top. Of all the accusations you can level at PBF, ******ity is not one of them and he knows that he needs to be in top condition to remain the p4p best. You need drive, passion, a fire in your belly to get out there and run mile after mile, day after day, to keep going in the gym when you are in pain, to say no to nice looking but unhealthy food & drink, to trim your social life and spend time away from your family and friends.

I think he was lacking motivation. Hatton was a bit of a super fight, coming in unbeaten, hailed as the best light welter stepping up to take on PBF. He'd had a super fight with De La Hoya before that. How do you train just as hard when you are fighting a mexican that has been beaten 5 times? Or wait for Cotto to become a mega star instead of just a respected unbeaten fresh champion?
