I prefer Boxing, but what's the point of discrediting UFC because both Floyd and Pacquiao did over a Mill buys on PPV? Aren't they supposed to do that?

The UFC isn't going anywhere, and Im not sure if you've even been to or watched a UFC event, but the crowd nor the fans doesn't consist of meatheads and skinheads whatsoever, but that generalization for ya...
LOL@watching a UFC. For a long time my friend. Much longer than 90 percent of the bozos that claim to be fans now of "MMA".

UFC is not MMA. It's closer to WWE actually.

I like how you IGNORE the fact that boxing was biggest 100 years ago. Completely invalidating your previous post.

        But carry on.

Imagine how bad MMA would lose if they put on say 5 of their biggest names in a card and Boxing put in 5 of boxing's biggest names?

          MMA would lose even worse!
Who are boxing's 5 biggest names? (not including De La Hoya)

That's your opinion. I enjoy a good fight and the UFC has shown me a lot of good fights. If the President of the company is a ****, sue him. It's not making me have trouble sleeping at night.

It's not an opinion that it's run like the WWE.

Dana patterns himself after Vince and his company after the WWE. This is a known fact. Sorry you can't grasp it.

If I had to choose I'd say,

                  1. De La Hoya
                  2. Mayweather
                  3. Pacquiao
                  4. Mosley
                  5. Cotto

Imagine all these names in one card vs any other known fighters.
And MMA's top 5 guys facing other big MMA names I'd still say Boxing blows MMA out of the water! Head to head in the same night!

You read my post wrong Timmy

My original post was geared towards stating that Boxing's history spans 100+ years and in those years the sport progressed as will MMA. Where did I say it was at its best 100 years ago?

                      Here's the reality though...

That'll never happen in Boxing because of the purses the Boxers will want. Who's going to come up with the payroll for those 5 boxers, Warren Buffet? Dana White owns all his fighters' contracts, thus being able to put on a PPV with a GSP, Silva, and or Penn.
