Because Pwill is a bit overrated and Sergio is VERY underrated.

Let's not forget how much of a late notice this fight was. If paul is smart he shouldn't take the rematch if there are any other viable opportunities out there.

Paul Williams has long being ****ing with his own body, trying basically to sell his soul for a big fight.
When the man says he can make 140 he shows no respect for himself or the fans who would pay 50 bucks to see him get smashed in a single round and probably enter a coma.
I hate seeing that in fighters. There is only ONE Floyd Mayweather. He gets away with being a money first boxer because he has got AN 0 and people are out to see him lose that 0. Plus his personality, he excels at selling fights.
People like Williams and Mosley ARE NOT Floyd, sad to say. Not that they don't deserve the attention, they do but they don't get it. Their best bet is to capture a belt and fight regularly and call people out everytime AFTER an impressive performance or 2.

He's been out there you just gotta catch more fights. He's been on HBO before though.

I saw the Bunema and Cintron fights, and thought he was a very live dog in this fight, but dude will be 35 in a few months and looks like a world beater. And if you don't count his interim 54 belt, he's never won a major world title.

Most boxers will look average after preparing to fight a slow-footed orthodox brawler and then at the last minute being told you’re fighting a slick counter-punching southpaw who has extremely good stamina and is very experienced. Hell just about every fighter looks bad against counter-punching southpaws normally, why it would be any different for PWill is beyond me especially since this fight should not have been a surprise if you had watched his fights with Quintana who is a smaller/weaker/slower Sergio Martinez.

He was avoided that is why. He was the WBC the #1 contender for a long time. Back when Oscar was the WBC champ. And, the WBC never forced Oscar to fight him. And, then somehow the WBC sanctioned Forrest-Baldomir as a title fight. Which was disgraceful since Martinez was still the #1 contender. Forrest straight out ducked he didn't want to fight him. So he never got his chance to shine. But, he has always been good.
