Williams forced an immediate rematch and after a FULL training camp from both men, he destroyed Quintana in one round. Expect the same result if Paul and Martinez fight again.

good to know that it had absolutely nothing to do with Sergio...it was all a lack of preparation on PWill's part....nevermind that fact that it was held 6lbs north of Martinez's weight class...good job fight fan!

6 pounds is really irrevlent to me, since Martinez comes into his 154 pound fights weighing over 160, it doesn't matter. And yeah, it has everything to do with Paul not having enough time. Martinez has a tricky style that you need that extra time to prepare for. Paul struggles somewhat with that style regardless, but with full time to prepare, he blows Martinez up. Just watch and see.

Ask DLH how irrelevant moving 6lbs is..don't think Sergio isn't gonna make adjustments in a rematch in his weight class

So Williams didn't have enough time to prepare for Martinez? Ok did Martinez have enough time to prepare for Williams?

Cuz' Sergio's a world class fighter that deserves p4p recognition.

Thats what happens when you fight the top comp. Manny should try it some time.

Last time he fought anyone worth anything, JMM made him look average.

paul williams was in training to fight 6 foot 2 middleweight champion kelly pavlik.

sergio was training to fight a bum.

sergio gets a call and goes from that, to training for a fight with 6 foot 3 top 10P4P "most avoided fighter" paul williams with a reach longer than some heavyweights.

damn what an advantage sergio was at, no fair.
