also you will notice that when mayweather was in arums stable he was mr perfect, completley unstoppable, the greatest thing in boxing since ali, no that he isnt of course arum wants him to get ko'ed

point in case a mayweather ko is highly highly unlikely
Entitled to your opinion but just one counterpoint. When mayweather was in Arum's stabele he was mr. perfect and unstoppable. He was also in a lower weight division and fighting and beating top contenders. The latter is no longer true so the former is debatable.

PS: Oh, and whatever you want to call Mayweather's "no-knockdown knockdown," the fact remains that according to the rules it was a knockdown.

I cannot cosign Pac beating Floyd and the main reason why I feel
that way is because of my sig BELOW. On top of that, Floyd to
me is just the all around better fighter technically, with a win mentally.
Your translation is not correct man. At least not to my eyes. I see Roach saying that it will a very difficult fight that will require Manny to learn new techniques. That's what training camp is for and as Roach has stated many times theirs is no longer a teacher-student relationship but has evolved into a more symbiotic one where Manny sometimes sees things before Roach even points them out. I don't know who will win but I am confident Manny will learn what he needs to learn.

he said Floyd is a different fighter than all the rest and needs to readjust
Manny's style and get Manny to see what he sees inorder to beat Floyd
just says to me what I always believed to be true and that is a great
defense can stagnate and frustrate a great offense. The fact that
Manny swings wild and leaves so many openings that can only make
Floyd counter punching abilities land so much effectively. I don't
sleep on Manny anymore but since size and power were not able to
stop him, the only thing I can see doing it is a good defensive strategy.
Also, I have seen Floyd at Manny Pacquiao fights cheering him on, so am
sure that he studies Pac. Should be a great fight either way. Two of the
world's best battling for the #1 slot! This is the only thing I can't front
on Arum doing. I thought he would try to stop it but he made it happen.
You're pretty much on point there.

I have no doubt Freddie is cooking up a decent plan for Manny. He tried to do it with Oscar. And Arum seemingly had no choice but to concede to the fight being made due to the overwhelming desire from the boxing public to get it done.

It should be great while it lasts.

Floyd fans are counting on his boxing skills, when his skills are grounded in his speed. Floyd is just faster than most other fighters his weight. I don't think that's the case with Pac. Pac is just as quick, if not faster, and he hits harder. I look for a lot of hemming and hawwing from Floyd's camp, maybe a cancelation or two. Floyd doesn't really want this fight.

I think Mayweather will keep that jab on Pacquiao’s face the whole night and will not let Pac-Man get in a rhythm. I really do not see Pac-Man winning the fight at all.

Pac has really impressed me in his last fight only. Cotto was a true welter with power. I think Oscar was drained and Ricky Hatton was a KO waiting to happen again and again. Floyds defence and pinpoint counters will be the story in March. I'm not even going to bet whether Pac wins......when the fight is closer I'll bet whether he even knocks Floyd down or not.

I don't know bro. Pac is fast and Floyd is fast. The difference is Floyd
is a very good defensive fighter and can switch it up and adjust at anytime
and is also an excellent counter puncher who exploits openings. Pac is
a strictly speedy offensive fighter. Definitely a good south paw that
will give Floyd some trouble but technically Floyd is just the more sound
fighter and the fact that Roach said he needs to reteach Pac inorder to
get into Floyd's zone, shows right there what level he think Floyd is on
Sure Pac is a good fighter and is not to be slept on but Floyd to me wins
this. Cotto was supposedly be able to hit harder than Pac and look what
happened to him? Pacquiao has and always will have problems with guys
who can box and displays defense.

                  pac & floyd

Freddy Roach is going to have to pull out a copy of Rocky, where he trains by trying to catch a chicken. That's the only thing Pac's going to have to change in this camp. Either way, if he catches Floyd "dancing with the stars" Mayweather, it's lights out.

Ha ha, that's funny! But I still believe Manny is going to lose.
