No, that's when the news came out. He used EPO in the Delahoya fight like 2000. Marion jones said she used it in the Sydney games. Okay. Late 90s. Whatever people are accusing Pacquiao off taking--it must be the good stuff like the "the clear" because they can neither trace HGH, which is tested, nor 40 other steroids and variants which NSAC looks for.

". It was later that Mosley was accused of using illegal performance enhancing drugs prior to his 2003 bout with Oscar De La Hoya, a match that he won due in part to his strong performance in the later rounds of the fight"
the NSAC only do urine testing, you wont find anything in there, this is why the cases of tests coming back positive is relitivley small in boxing in comparison with other sports, this is becasue those other sports use blood testing which is a bit more accurateComment

I stand corrected. It could also be the first; we don't know how long he used it. If you have info on that. Much appreciated.i think youll find it was the second fight

No, not necessarily. It could mean Mosley cycled the EPO out of his body before the match began thats why the wiki states Mosley "preparing" to face Oscar for the light-middleweight. Random drug testing should be enforced.Last edited by rao007; 12-07-2009, 09:05 AM.Comment

can EPO be cycled ? i dont know a major amount about it but i know it increases blood cell production allowing the blood to carry more oxygen, i would think he would have to take this throughout, also as it directly affects the blood stream im pretty sure a urine test wouldnt how any signs of this drug, other sports use blood testing boxing has fell behind on thisComment

Yes. I think your body removes it after a while. I think NSAC does blood tests but it's very limited. You can naturally increase RBC count by altitude training which increase the EPO your body naturally makes. So if the blood tests show you have a crazy amount of RBC levels regardless of altitude training--you're using something.as far as i know it was just the second fight, thats what all the infomation i have seen points towards
