Kellerman did a good job last night - all his comments were fair. He wasn't biased against the foreign fighter.

The only other time I recall him doing so well was during the Kessler-Calzaghe fight.

Many people on this board - mainly Pacquiao fans - are not fans of the sport. If you notice, they RARELY post about anything other than Pac. And it is never tactical in nature. Those are the fans who are always quick to say "lolz omg williams got exposed rofl ".

That is what really turns me off about this board.
This is a problem for most sports. A lot of fans I've noticed, UFC, MMA, NFL, NBA etc. are too busy jockriding something to be objective or EVEN ATTEMPT objectivity.

I feel bad for Martinez. I really do.

Tactical comment: Pwill having to adjust to another south paw with a lot of speed.

I've just finished watching the fight with the commentary turned off and had it
115-114 for Martinez. I don't have any problems with Williams winning the fight though.
Judging, as we all know is subjective. This is especially highlighted in close fights.

However, there is no defending an 119-110 score in that fight. It makes you feel like the Judge already had a winner in mind before the fight started and therefore made his scorecard fit his own agenda.

I feel bad for Martinez but also for Williams because his victory is in danger of being overshadowed by a judge's ridiculous score.

like i said before i dont think many people realized the significance of 119-110 that means that martinez won 1rd according to that pos judge which is bull ****. yes i think martinez won this fight. really goes to show how many people know scoring on this site, **** is nuts with all these morons

I find it funny that guys are screaming robbery on here that normally score for AGGRESSION (ineffective or otherwise) or at least claim they do since they never score **** but HERE because of nationalism, racism or just general fighter bias are now yelling Robbery.

I had it a Draw. Props to both fighters.

Stop ****ting on either one. There should be a rematch. The 119 scorecards were insane. Both want one, let's do it.

Stop ****ting on the announce team. They were divided 50 percent which on a close fight like this with hard rounds to score makes sense.

**** on the culprits: the judges that had that insane score for a close fight (this is not a robbery just ridiculous judging. A robbery is when one person clearly won the fight and doesn't get it).

I had it a draw personally. I'd be fine if Martinez had won it. He fought a GREAT fight. Both guys showed heart, courage and skill. Let's applaud them.
Paul Williams had a look of defeat throughout the whole fight, he knew he was getting his ass kicked and he knew he had lost that fight, even after they announced him the "winner" he was in disbelief. I would of been fine with a draw also but everyone knows Martinez won that fight, landed at will, avoided most of the shots and displayed amazing boxing skills.

I watched it with spanish commentary on HBO this morning and the commentators were expressing how Paul Williams looked like he didn't even wanna raise his hand when they announced the victory..and didn't even smile..and I never seen Paul Williams do that even in his toughest victories he never stops smiling..he felt he lost as well and knows that scorecard was bull**** as soon as he heard it..

it was a close fight..but that one scorecard made the night sour!..

Well said, you can clearly tell by the look of a fighter after the fight, besides being all bloodied and cut up, Williams had the look of defeat the entire fight, specially after they announced him the "winner"

Is that really what you saw???
Anyways, after I watched the fight again this morning, Im even more convinced Paul won and while everybody is talking about scorecards, talk about Julie Lederman giving the last three rounds to Martinez cause thats bull****. After rewatching, I also noticed the constant holding and several low blows from Martinez and give P.Will more credit for not complaining once
