Anyways, after I watched the fight again this morning, Im even more convinced Paul won and while everybody is talking about scorecards, talk about Julie Lederman giving the last three rounds to Martinez cause thats bull****. After rewatching, I also noticed the constant holding and several low blows from Martinez and give P.Will more credit for not complaining once
Maybe your problem is giving credit for PWill for extra bogus criteria.
And calling this fight a robbery is justified. That last judge was clearly a PWill guy and if he had been replaced with an impartial judge it could have effected the outcome.
I've just finished watching the fight with the commentary turned off and had it
115-114 for Martinez. I don't have any problems with Williams winning the fight though.
Judging, as we all know is subjective. This is especially highlighted in close fights.
However, there is no defending an 119-110 score in that fight. It makes you feel like the Judge already had a winner in mind before the fight started and therefore made his scorecard fit his own agenda.
I feel bad for Martinez but also for Williams because his victory is in danger of being overshadowed by a judge's ridiculous score.

Knee jerk reactions? Check.
Not knowing how to score fights? Check.
No concept of the basic rules of scoring fights? Check.
Calling close fights robberies? Check.
Rampant nationalism and bias coming out? Check.
Closet racists chest thumping the loudest? Check.
Not posting a score card because you didn't even attempt to score the fight
but loudly screaming ROBBERY? Check.
I find it funny that guys are screaming robbery on here that normally score for AGGRESSION (ineffective or otherwise) or at least claim they do since they never score **** but HERE because of nationalism, racism or just general fighter bias are now yelling Robbery.
I had it a Draw. Props to both fighters.
Stop ****ting on either one. There should be a rematch. The 119 scorecards were insane. Both want one, let's do it.
Stop ****ting on the announce team. They were divided 50 percent which on a close fight like this with hard rounds to score makes sense.
**** on the culprits: the judges that had that insane score for a close fight (this is not a robbery just ridiculous judging. A robbery is when one person clearly won the fight and doesn't get it).
I had it a draw personally. I'd be fine if Martinez had won it. He fought a GREAT fight. Both guys showed heart, courage and skill. Let's applaud them.
Think that's the best post i've seen today. Good point. I did score the fight (roughly) and i thought it was a draw. A rematch must happen. The rest you already said. Check!
