so then you are telling me that him fighting Foreman instead of Mayweather would have been justifiable?

Election promo, eh? If he beat Mayweather in March, that would SEAL his election IMO!!!!!!!

I don't know why people keep bringing up Pac being able to fight Foreman in March but not Mayweather. There is no logic there. Foreman is no Mayweather. Pac would be ready to fight someone like Foreman in March, that doesn't mean hes going to be ready to fight someone like Mayweather.

So the next logical question is..why did Roach come out public that May didn't want to fight in March?

and why did Manny agree to fight in March?

IMO, he agreed because he is a champion and this is the fight that he has said he wants and then retire.

Also, after the Cotto fight, Roach AND Manny clearly said that they wanted Mayweather NEXT. How is Floyd wrong for accepting to fight Manny....NEXT??
Dude, I aint confused. Try to understand the post before giving your biased interpretation.

Good for Mayweather's team, dirty (disadvantageous, whatever you want to call it) for Pac's. Well, hasn't the media and a large majority of fans (*****s being that majority) say that Floyd can beat Pac regardless of the date and weight? But why are they saying that the fight should be on March or there will be no fight at all? That's because they saw a disadvantage. But the warrior that Pac is, he accepted the fight with that disadvantage in mind.

Did you miss what Roach said that March is too soon for a Floyd fight? Next was supposedly for May or later. When they can't get those dates, they changed their minds and thought of going against Foreman instead. So your next argument is moot.

Yes, election promo. A Foreman fight is a sure win for Manny so it was safe. Floyd is a lot more diffucult so it was more of a risk.

Good point on sealing a congress seat with a win, but (objectively speaking), Floyd has a better chance of beating Manny than Foreman winning against Manny. More risk going against an election campaign.

Recover from what? No disrespect, but you act as if Pacquiao took the beating Sam. Yeah he took some hard shots but nothing he has to "rest" from. Pac was fine after the fight and he'll be ready in March. Pacquiao took more punishment against Marquez and he came back OK.
