I think Pacquiao is making a mistake. He needs two extra months to recover and prepare properly, then there could be no excuses. March = too early. May = would be fine.

So if roach wants 12 weeks of training, this means that manny will start training next week? LOL.....I think he can do 8 weeks at most....

recover from a fight that was pretty much a blowout after 4 rounds?

he'll start training camp in mid-january.

plenty of time to heal his bruises.

roach shouldn't change things.

gameplan differently but no need for an extra 4 weeks. 2 at most.

start after new years for a 10 week camp or mid-january for an 8 week camp.

plenty of time and pacquiao still spends the holidays with his family.

if he starts mid-january , that's an 8 week camp.

that's also 2 months to recover from the cotto fight.

If Pacquiao fights Mayweather in March...
