nobody "rushed" Manny into the March 13 date. May wouldn't work because he is running for office (that he probably wont win).
He's being rushed. March is too early against a tough opponent like Floyd. Maybe against somebody else (Mosley, Margarito, etc. ), March would've been fine for Pac.

Manny had no problem having the fight in the latter half of 2010. I don't know why they keep on insisting the fight won't EVER happen beyond May.

I want this fight to happen. But don't you think it's very peculiar that it's going to be announced on Bob's birthday next week? heh? Coincidence?

He'll have four months in between fights, he's had an average of about 4 months between fights in multiple 'years' of his career, including just this last year. Even if he has a perforated ear drum(which there has been no statement from a medical professional on), the amount of time needed to heal it if it doesn't require surgery(which again there have been no evidence that it has) is usually just a few weeks (there's a link to it on the mayo clinic website, that I don't have enough posts to link to).

If there are any other injuries, then state them, but if he's medically clear to fight (and he wasn't medically suspended for that long), he can take the rest of this month off and start training camp in January.
He would get about 9 weeks which would be more than he had for cotto (and many fans of pacquiao base his performance @ that time with that level of training as being capable of taking floyd out)

pac was scheduled to fight in march anyway...but if he is still too tender...they should move it back to may...mayweather was given similar treatment with marquez moving their fight back...

You mean Pacquiao can lie about an injury and get extra month or two?

i wouldn't want the fight in may as a pacquiao fan.

                  he's running for elections.

i would be so pissed if manny is going campaigning at the same time he's in training camp.

i don't care if he only trains 8 weeks as long as it's at wildcard.

if he's training in philippines , with all the distractions , i might as well not buy the ppv because i know it'll be another boring ass floyd win.

March, september or december i still pick Mayweather over Pacquiao. Pacquiao could win it but Floyd is hands down the most gifted fighter in the world and knows how to win big fights. If Pac destroys him he's top 5 ATG IMO.
