as I said, no one MADE Manny accept the March date. Roach proposed March PUBLICLY before Mayweather did. I honestly do not get what you are saying. Roach did want it later because he said that after the fight with Cotto, which was fine, BUT ALL THAT CHANGED WHEN MASTER ROACH SAID THEY WANT TO FIGHT IN MARCH.

Arum made it public but isn't it obvious that it was proposed by Team May before they reached the agreement? I am blaming Arum partly for pushing the March date but Team May jumping into the opportunity is a good, but somehow dirty, tactic.

I was hesitant at first coz the recovery and the preparation time is too short. But Manny knows himself better than anyone else, if he thinks his capable of beating Floyd in that amount of time. Then we know and everyone knows that he got "BIG BALLS" for accepting the fight in that span of time since the Cotto fight. And freddie has the idea to beat Floyd. I just hope they can finalize this fight already to see Manny whoopes Moneyweather A$$.

not exactly lied about march... yup, i think they were thinking of another opponent since they would want Pac to fight a lesser opponent because it should basically be a promotional fight for the elections. I know Yuri Foreman was a joke but Manny getting an 8th division title should have been news still. As the old saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Also, after the Cotto fight, Roach AND Manny clearly said that they wanted Mayweather NEXT. How is Floyd wrong for accepting to fight Manny....NEXT??
