I still wouldn't mind Jones-Hopkins 2, why not? Roy is getting KOed all the time but if he's not gonna stop fighting it is what it is. May aswell go for Jones-Hopkins 2 aslong as they are both fighting. Jones will be seen as another fighter who stayed around too long but whatever, he's getting paid and is still decent.

I know B-Hop and Roy just want a quick pay day but it's definitely going to be hard to sell since Roy didn't even try to fight back after he got dropped.
i agree i don't know why roy did not have his hands up, he knows better. It looks like he got hit on the temple, he was definetely disoriented he could not fight back. Good stoppage by the ref.

If Roy wants to fight, that's his decision. All the ******* who are worried about his health need to step aside and let the man handle his business.

Jones vs Hopkins II has been years in the making, would be a perfect fight for Roy to go out on, but he might need to get a win under his belt before the fight happens.

Lol I just looked at my boxing caldender and December is Roy Jones Jr.

I think Jones should fight Hopkins (likely lose), beat Anderson Silva then have a retirement fight in Florida.

this is almost as bad as Hatton saying he over trained vs Pacquiao, but at least Ricky got laid out, and lasted to the end of the second round
            Of course...regular HBO

Roy did look like he got hurt by the shot, but seemed to recover okay. Looked like he blocked most of what came after, but he should have been returning punches at some point.

Roy got hurt on a fluke placed punch, it his own fault though, he turned his head with the punch, its not like he got his ass beat the whole fight and then got knocked the **** out, he got caught cold in the first minute of the fight, that **** happens all the time, just ask joe calzaghe.

Agreed, I think Green got lucky. It's not like Roy got dominated for 5 rounds before the knockdown came.

I think Roy needs to rematch Green and prove that it was a just a lucky punch.
