This is very legit. I suffered a concussion once from a shot like that, and on a site note the punches you don't see hurt the most. Jones didn't see that shot because he put his glove on the side of his face to try to block it.

Yeah man, it wasn't but getting hit behind the ear is just as bad as being hit on the temple. You lose all your equilibrium and that was a hard shot. Nothing weird about it. The ref also gave Jones time to recover but it wasn't until he stepped backward and his legs did a wobble and then Green hit him with two more hard shots that he decided to get in there.
