Sucpect or not Roy was doing the chicken dance on the floor. Roy did recover really well when he was up though. I think the ref should have let it went on because Roy recovering really well and he blocked most of the shot. He wasn't wrong for stopping it though because Roy wasn't throwing anythng back.

Yeah, it seemed like Roy was recovering/trying to get Green to gas himself out maybe, but I don't think Roy threw a single punch after getting knocked down. I mean, I watched it again and not a single punch was thrown by RJJ after getting up (and yes he did the chicken dance on the floor).

Smell foul play? Edited the sound effect? Are you in that much denial that RJJ got stopped in the 1st? He obviously was hit, his legs were wobbly and he was taking hit after hit without throwing back at all. I mentioned this before but I think if it was a no name fighter instead of Roy, the ref probably woulda stopped it sooner.

If you watch the first knockdown the punch was nowhere near the temple but almost above & to the side of the head. It looked more due to off balance, with a combination of the flurry of green punches that sent roy down, or roy lost his legs for a brief second there. Nowhere near a temple shot.

That punch is dangerous, when you are hit on the the temple (is this a word in english? ) you're in trouble. PLUS, you can see that Jones' legs are gone.

I think the stoppage was a little premature too but protesting is ridicolus.

roy still kinda walked stunned like and he just went back to coverin up so it was good stoppage

LoL, it was no phantom punch and not stopped prematurely at all. Shot caught Jones on side of ear near the temple. Jones has been caught there before and it really messes up your equilabrium. Then when he got up and threw like 1 defensive punch to Green's 30 or so punches, I think it makes sense to stop it because not every punch was blocked and Jones clearly had no legs.

ROY WASN'T PUNCHING BACK!!!!!!!! If he wasn't hurt why wasn't he punching back?? Thats the reason why the ref stopped the fight.
