Kessler did better than Bute in his first fight with Andrade.
Bute had to fight an Andrade who broke the record for taking punches by Kessler for 12 rounds.
After that fight Andrade got wobbled AND knocked down by Yusaf Mack Top15 60% Ko Ratio and completely outskilled by Mack who ran out of gas.

So after Andrade got punished twice, he had to figh Bute and nearly knocked him out. Now he managed to knock no defense Andrade out, no wonder Andrade lost his chin.

Why is Pacquiao #1 at WW if rankings goes like you say?

Pacman may be champ, but he is never going down to 140 again. Anyone with common sense knows that.

this doesnt really make sense to me...but uhh ok. andrade was overrated from the gate to me. how do you get the number one ranking after beating someone you already beat. bute beat a very tough journeyman which is what andrade is. ward on the other hand beat the favorite to win the entire super middleweight tournament in dominant fashion...this makes ZERO sense

Jermain Taylor was outboxing the **** out of Froch till the stoppage.

agains is not only who you beat, is how and when!!!!
Let's see then. A little analysis based on your criteria based on the universal choices for Bute's and Froch's top three victories.

            Who you beat

            Bute - Bika, Andrade, Zuniga
            Froch - Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell

Winner: Froch - How the **** Bika made it into the top ten is beyond me and the same can be said of Zuniga. Andrade is Bute's only real top ten victory and he is low entry. Pascal may or may not have been a top ten fighter when Froch fought him, but now he is definately a top ten fighter at Light Heavyweight. Taylor was definately a top ten fighter. Dirrell may or may not have been a top ten fighter, but he certainly deserved to be there as much as Bika or Zuniga.

            How you beat them:

Bute - Bika by wide decision, Andrade by controversial decision (in terms of whether it should have gone to a decision or not) and early knockout, Zuniga by early knockout

Froch - Pascal by wide decision, Taylor by late knockout, Dirrell by split decision.

Winner: draw - Bute wins in better fashion, but Froch is beating better fighters. Bika and Andrade are just wild and tough tomato cans and Zuniga is just a puncher.

            When you beat them:

Bute - wins stretch from 2007 to the present
            Froch - last three fights

Winner: Froch - ever since he got to the top, he hasn't left. Love him or hate him, the man has balls and will go after anyone.

                  1. Ward - He beat the former number 1 in dominant fashion.
                  2. Froch - last 3 fights - Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell. All wins.
                  3. Bute - No arguements.
                  4. Kessler - Lost 2 big fights. Damaged goods? Froch next fight....
                  5. Abraham - Better then most of the above and will beat them all bar Ward, but only has Taylor and Miranda wins at this weight.

Normally I could care less, but given the way the first fight ended I felt it deserved a mention.

At least the right guy won this time. Props to Bute.
