He did have the most dominant impressive SMW win over a top opponent since Joe beat the soul out of Lacy for 12 rounds......so I have no problem with this, but I know the posters who will and will be shortly bashing him and saying Ward is better.

Good job with putting Bute as #1. He deserves it. Fight in your division, and win impressively in your division, and you are amply recognized. Now, I wish the ring would be consistent. Mayweather's win vs marquez didnt merit mayweather's current position. But that's another story.

Maybe if Andrade had 21 seconds to recover things would be different. Did anyone notice when the ref was giving the 10 count, when he was at six and putting up the seven, Bute bolted out of his corner and started celebrating all over the ring jumping up and down with his hands up? Normally I could care less, but given the way the first fight ended I felt it deserved a mention.

At least the right guy won this time. Props to Bute.

That's comical. KO'ing Andrade is a really good win, dominating Kessler is a whole different thing. Ward is so clearly the top guy, this is ridiculous.

Well deserved! I would also put AA over Kessler and Froch.

Beating a guy he already beat makes him #1? Andrade is probably the worst of all the top guys at SMW too.

Kessler was number 1, and Ward came in the underdog and dominated him. Bute knocked out a guy that walks into his punches.

I think Ward should be number 1.
