Skills of course.
Why was Marquez-Pacquiao II so close?

at superfeather Marquez was a beast. Prime Mayweather would be in a tough fight with him at that weight.Comment

Because based on your given poll choices you just want us to say that it's because of JMM's skills.
Why do you have to say he's weight drained, Pacquiao struggled a bit to make the weight but he is not weight drained.
And yes, JMM is a very skilled boxer... too bad he kinda always kiss the canvas.Last edited by Puntoyhauf; 11-30-2009, 12:23 AM.Comment

prime mayweather would still school that jmm easy. we can all call pbf a duck, coward, cherrypicker, etc. but his defense, skills, speed and reflexes are unrivaled. jmm's style is nothing more than a sparring session for pbf sadly.Comment

okayyy....
not really, there are people who say its because he was weight drained. so i gave that option to see what the people thought, the other reason is completely justifiable. arent marquez's ring smarts, resiliency, and counter punching ability what made the fight what it was?Because based on your given poll choices you just want us to say that it's because of JMM's skills.

Styles make fights, and Pacquiao put on 16 lbs in one day. Pacquiao looks drained even at 135, seeing as he came it at what, 147? against Diaz, thats still a good 12 lbs in one night.
Above all though, styles make fights and the fact that Marquez at featherweight was a beast.Comment
