Is this proposed fight at SMW for Bute's SMW title? If it is I don't approve as Pavlik has done nothing to earn a title shot against Bute and has not been impressive as of late in his own division......fight PWill or Sturm and clean it out before moving up.

Would be a good fight, Bute UD. Then a potential Williams fight if Williams beats Martinez.

Would be a good fight, but I'd let Pavlik get his feet wet at 168 first. He didn't look so good in the Taylor rematch and the Hopkins defeat.

Pavlik needs to stay within 5 lbs of 160. His body type is clearly ectomorphic, which makes it hard to function as an athlete outside of it's own body frames weight. That's why he looks so sluggish when he reached over 160, even with his fight with Taylor. Mesomorphs and Endomorphs are are capable of pulling this off with ease. But that aside, lets say Pavlik is able to do the same things at 160 when at 168, and lets say he brings his power up also. He'll still be killed because Bute's abilities are light years above Pavlik.

Wasn't Bute the guy completely out on his feet, being held up by the ropes against Andrade. It was a complete robbery. But I guess since he avenged his loss, he's great now. Not buying it. I think a Bute-Pavlik fight is alot more competitive than everyone here is giving Kelly credit for. I mean, NO ONE looks good against B-hop and the version of Jermaine he fought was an amped up one looking to erase his embarrassing loss the first time. Back then Jermaine was really good too (don't know what happened). I'm gonna go against the grain and pick Pavlik because I don't think Bute handles punches to well especially when he's exhausted.

I don't know if Williams could be competitive at 168, but I find it funny that the ***** and the ducker that is Pavlik is the one going on to get a shot at a marketable fighter while Paul's **** is left swinging in the wind fighting guys that have no fan base be it locally or with casual or hardcore boxing fans.

First you already resolv the Williams **** problem

Second, Williams hae no fan base either. So a fight etween 2 guys with a fan ase, makes more than a fighter with no fan base against a fighter with fan base.

And anyways Bute KHTFO, and he KOs Pavlik too!!!!
