I don't like the idea imo, I think bute should replace tayler in the super six or fight Jeff lacy to test him, then fight tayler, and then he can go for the big fights.

That doens't really make sense, the biggest fights at super middle weight are in the super six. are you claiming a fight against Pavlik at 168 would be bigger then fighting in the tournament...

Pavlik apparently doesnt give a *** about the tourney anyway, the way he ripped on it was rather pathetic on his end. the tournament is more popular than he probably imagined, and each one of them, including jermaine, got good exposure and a paycheck, something he hasnt seen in a long ****in time.

If Pavlik signs for this fight he should immediately give up his two belts. He cannot keep a worthless stranglehold on his belts by fighting his only meaningful fights above 160.

It's clearly obvious that HBO is desperate after Showtime completely stole any thunder they had with the advent of the Super Six.

They trot Pavlik out to appeal to the rust belt fan base and you can tell they are trying to hit a homerun with Bute and his mass appeal to a portion of Canadian fans.

This is a good fight. Wouldn't be suprised if Pavlik rips him a new one to be honest. We all know that Pavlik has lost a few steps since Borehard Slopkins f***ed him a new ******* but I think if he connects with Bute - it's lights out.
