Because Marquez is a great fighter at 135 & below & Manny clearly wouldn't be hurt by adding some weight!!So when Manny fought Marquez,he was in tip top form!!Not overweight & cheated against!!

If you can't see any difference between Pac now and in 2004, I can't help you. His footwork is better, his right hand is better and his defense is better. And has his level of comp really been that bad in the last five years?

I don't think Pacquiao was drained. He was fast and his stamina was as good as ever.

manny is improved since 2004, but the pacquiao who fought jmm in 2008 is not much different from this one a year later.

The obvious answer is that JMM is the man and an excellent counter-puncher.

However, I think Pacquiao was draining himself at 130, but still a very formidable opponent.

I dunno, maybe he wasn't drained per se, but he wasn't as healthy as he is at JWW and WW.

147 fight night for a 130 lb fighter is drained. We're talking what? 13% rehydration? JMM doesn't stand a chance against Pac at 140+.
