Bernard Hopkins Has David Haye's Title on His Radar

I don't think Hopkins even has a reasonable chance of winning. Haye isn't Pavlik. He creates angles, punches very hard, and is reasonably slick. If Haye landed a clean, powerful shot that Hopkins didn't see coming, then it would probably be lights out. Stepping up two weights, without any tune-up fights at heavyweight, would be a mistake on Hopkins part. Haye is a great boxer, not to be taken lightly. To put it simply, he is no Ruiz. Jones beating Ruiz is no comparison to this match-up.

I think Hopkins will rely only on his experience and boxing skills and no more than that. He will use his ring generalship against Haye w/c I'm not sure if it will work effectively.On the other hand Haye is the bigger, younger & faster guy w/c is the very obvious advantages Haye has over Bhop. BHop will try to maximize the ring and be careful enough not to be hit by Haye bombs. Unfortunately, if BHop get caught w/ a hard clean shot it'll be all over for him.

I imagine this as a chess match, Haye will initiate and BHop will counter and move or clinch. Another boring fight maybe.

True but it might also be the fact that Haye is becoming a big money fighter.

It's not about what makes Hopkins think he can beat it's that he's going out with a ****. Members should be banned for criticizing anything but Hopkins social skills.

The best thing about this is he doesn't have to do this for his legacy.....he wants to.

That would be awesome, but I doubt Hopkins's physical ability, especially at 45 years old, to win a heavyweight belt, especially against a guy like Haye who has talent.

If David Haye fights his style with Hopkins, he's getting dropped. Hopkins has the ability to take any fight out of their comfort zone. And Haye doesn't have enough experience for B-Hop. Haye will get in the ring and look amateurish or let his ego take over and get dropped.
