Again, I don't think PAC is the only reason, I really think the rise of MMA has alot to do with it as well, like I said earlier, it lit a fire on the major boxing promoters @sses

Haha, PAC made himself the star he is today. If he would've been the one that received a beat down, then he joins Steve Forbes.

Remember, DLH thought it was easy pickins. DLH had plans to stay longer and make even more $$$ in a future showdown against Hatton!

Floyd is the only boxer i remember being booed and audience walking out way before the fight is over. Despite the fact that he just dominated his opponent. Part of the reason many people likes to watch his fights is because they're hoping his opponent can beat his ass and shuts him up. You're forgeting the fact that Manny is not an American, therefore he will never be as well known to the American public as much as an American athlete. Being Asian doesn't help either, Asians in general have always have a hard time making it to the American entertainment mainstream. Whether it be Hollywood, Music, or Sports. It is what it is. But in boxing right now, Manny certainly has alot to do on why boxing is getting alot more attention right now. Certainly not just because of him solely, but definitely a majority reason because of him. BTW, no comment on the Cotto vs Manny fight, after all the things you've said about Manny before that fight.

Well, the poll result disagrees. Boxing fans have spoken.

              I like this one:

Pac has a little success at WW fighting a drained, years passed his prime Oscar and a broken Ricky Hatton who previously had his soul taken by Mayweather and now a lot of you wanna rank him as one of the best in the division. The reality is: Pac is arguably the most overrated fighter of the past decade and although he's a top fighter at the lower divisions, he loses badly against any top 5 fighter at WW.

This fight almost reminds me of the De La ****/Pac fight in that the weaker fighters team has such a stranglehold over the media that they actually brainwashed people into making him the favorite going into it. Educated boxing fans like myself cut through that bull**** right away and made easy money off that fight which i'm sure will be the case again for this one.

I do give Manny credit for reaching the level he has (especially in the Phillippines) given what skills he possesses and his intelligence level (ie: practically living in America for nearly a decade and still not being able to string more then a few words together at a time) but skill wise, he shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as the Mayweather's, Cotto's, or Mosleys. Expect Cotto to be the first WW fighter to humble him and his fans before he eventually drops back down to the lighter divisions where he belongs.
              Comedy gold! Mr. President rules.

Nah, if that fight didn't happen, casual boxing fans outside the Philippines wouldn't know anything about Pac. He's great and all but that fight is his biggest payday before becoming a superstar. Imagine if that fight didn't happen, I doubt if he can sell 1M+ buys.
